Social Studies and Creative Writing (English)

I like to challenge people to think outside of the box. Although I know it is important to know how to take tests and write papers appropriately, I also know that showing skills that go above and beyond, is what makes a student stand out. I will challenge your mind but in a way that will help to see the bigger picture out of the details, and will also help to shape you into a well-rounded, thoughtful individual.
I am currently a Sociology student at Augsburg College. I am also pursuing a minor in Psychology. This year will be my last, so I will graduate in 2014. Being overwhelmed with information that is just not making sense can be frustrating and most teachers don't have the time to give individual attention to each student. Ever student has different needs and I can help them focus on areas they doesn't understand as well as others. I can also show students that studying can be fun.

I will graduate from the College of Saint John’s University this spring with a major in English Education. Classes I have taken at CSB/SJU include extensive English and Education courses and a continuation of Spanish education. I worked as a paid English tutor during my 4-year college career through Upward Bound Tutoring program. A Little Bit About Me...

I worked as a camp counselor for 3 summers, and understand that everyone has different learning styles.
