My comments on tutoring Vocals : Although I have not had a lot of individual vocal instruction, I have taken part in many musicals and was in my choir and show choir throughout high school. I also studied music education and musical theatre for a bit in college.

I do not have a definitive teaching style. When teaching someone, I usually try to adapt to their learning style, and if they do not have a strategy that works, I help them develop a good learning style and get comfortable with it. I like to think I make learning difficult things more fun and approachable.
I absolutely love performing and any aspect of theatre. I love learning and growing in my theatre knowledge and experiences. I have been performing in some way my whole world and love to share my passion with others. I also love English and Shakespeare; obviously these both go hand in hand with theatre!

I enjoy working with students. It is important that teachers see that children learn differently and really accommodate each child as an individual. I began by building a relationship with each child, so I know how they learn and what are all the interests. From there, I facilitate the teaching, by really letting the child learn his best way. Nothing is better than seeing a huge smile on a child's face once they cath on to something. I love helping children learn by doing a lot of visual activities and practicing! I was always the only person who could help my younger sister study for tests because she said my teaching techinique is very helpful and makes her remember things. It always made me feel good knowing i was the only one who could help her study!
When I first attended Wilmington College, I was in early childhood education. I completed a whole semester of student teaching and volunteered for tutoring after school.
