All kids can learn no matter what their disability!

Patient. I work at the students pace and tighten the rigor where the student can succeed.
I have been teaching special education for over 6 years. I've taught low functioning students with Learning disabilities, autism, MR, etc... Some kids learn at a different pace and some progress, while it may not be much, opens the door to confidence and hope. I will work hard and help your child to succeed where they can and build character along the way. We as educators need to teach the whole child.

Solve ALL your problems with a math tutor!

While completing my degree, I worked in the math department as a tutor. I often had several students with various subjects simultaneously. It was a challenge to constantly switch topics, but I apparently did it so well that I almost had a regular class that showed up every time I was on duty. Several students told me that I explained things on a level they could understand as opposed to the high-level language the professor used. I have also done private tutoring since then.
I generally work through an example while explaining. Then as the student works the problems, I instruct by asking prompting questions with decreasing frequency until the student can complete problems without any assistance.

Math is one of my top subjects! Math has been my favorite subject since I was born, and that will be my minor when I transfer over to UTD. Any questions regarding general math you can throw at me.

I graduated from junior college in 2016 in General Studies. Continued to pursue a degree in Computer Science, but dropped out due to life circumstances. I continued to teach myself in pursuit of the knowledge I craved. My desire to learn and curious nature kept me determined. I am currently a software developer working with Java on the back-end and JavaScript/Typescript on the front-end.
Very patient and will stick with you until you understand the concept at hand. My goal is to guide you to seek understanding and try to solve a problem on your own.
