I use a variety of teaching styles to involve students in the learning process: in traditional and computer-mediated classroom settings, and over the internet. The traditional teaching style (face-to-face interaction) was blended with technology (such as online discussions and assignments) for a boosted learning environment. For instance, a lot of times it just looks like things can magically happen without a very good underlying explanation, and to overcome that I try to really break things down and pull things apart, sometimes with real life examples, physical examples and even just showing the student exactly where the "magic" part is coming from.
