We all have different views, and I would like to find that gateway into the minds of children so that they can see and understand more. I use different methods for each individual. I have earned a bachelor of science degree in General Science, which means I have a very good understanding of many topics including: Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Computers, and Arts. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to start tutoring students by determining what the student's strengths and weaknesses are and building a strategy from there. When a student doesn't understand a new concept, I like to go through every step of the process with them to figure out where the stumbling block is, using a variety of ways to explain the concept to assess which strategy works best for each student. Ultimately my goal is to see each student "get it" and overcome obstacles in learning math, so the student can independently understand new concepts enough to use them without much coaching.
