I believe that all children have the capability to learn if someone is willing to be patient and work with them. I enjoy having fun with youth while learning and teaching those I work with the value of what they are learning. I graduated with a degree in Physical Science Education, which gives me a strong background in Physical Sciences and in math. A Little Bit About Me...

Teaching art is one of my favorite ways to apply my abilities. I am particularly passionate about comics and giving children the tools to express themselves through art and self-publishing, skills I hope they apply on their own after I am finished teaching them. I believe in giving children the same respect as adults whenever possible. In my experience, developing an authentic rapport with children is more effective than talking down to them.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am very passionate about teaching and instructing young people. That is why I have spent time volunteering to teach English to children in Mexico, working as a counselor at youth camps for several years, and establishing a school outreach program for local art galleries. My desire to teach people about the arts also drove me to achieve a BA in Art Education.
