Chemistry is one of my top subjects! I have had the good fortune of tutoring several high school and college students in chemistry over the years and would welcome the opportunity to serve in that capacity again.

My philosophy is that, as long as students don't give up on themselves, I won't give up on them either. Often, when students first come to me for tutoring, they are frustrated and discouraged. My first job is to get their confidence back and get them to believe in themselves again.

I have experience in hands on teaching of students with their horses. I have worked on and off for many years helping memebers of local 4-H clubs prepare their animals for show. I like to teach using examples, either on a board to show a person step by step first. Then try to give the student examples to try to solve themselves. If this does not work I continue to breakdown a problem until we can clearly identify where the student is having trouble.
I have helped tutor friends’ kids on math from little school to high school. I have taken math all the way up to Differential equations and feel alright tutoring up to calculus one.
