I developed my passion for teaching others from a a pre-college program I was in called Upward Bound. I learned study skills, time management and other skills that helped me excel in college. After college graduation,i obtained a tutoring position with the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.I served as a mentor as well guiding them through the difficulties of high school and applying for college and financial aid. My comments on tutoring Elementary : I have taught K3, 1st, 2nd grade reading, 4th grade preparation for testing, 5th and 6th grade in elementary settings. I taught 4 and 5 year olds at a day care center.

I have worked with children in a variety of settings and ages over the past 25 years: church camp counselor, gymnastics coach, dance instructor, theater, forensics judge, tutor, and classroom teacher.
