My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have planned reading lessons focusing on reading comprehension skills.

I have been teaching students for the past twelve years. I taught in the field of Special Education with students in grades 1-5 for eight years. I love teaching in a hands on style in which the student not only has an algorithm of how to solve a specific problem, but has a thorough understanding of the concepts behind the algorithm. I enjoy having analogies or hands-on activities to demonstrate the concepts. I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways.
