Reading Comprehension is one of my top subjects! Writing is my passion. As a writer, it is my job to help people find joy in the words and stories I tell. I love being able to help someone understand and envelop themselves into a story or whatever else they are reading to fully immerse themselves into the story or message the author was trying to relay to them.

I don't like to tell you what to learn, but rather guide you to see it for yourself, allowing you to come to the right conclusion on your own. Helping you teach yourself, so that when the time comes for that test or that epic paper, you will know you can do it because you know it.
I have my A.A. degree in Theatre and Communications and will be receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing with a minor in Film Studies in December of 2012. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching for 13 years. I began teaching Social Studies classes at the high school level and taught every variety of student for 6 years. I then received my Masters in Special Education and began working with special needs students in the high school setting. While teaching Special Education students,I received my Specialists Degree in Special Education. I currently teach Social Studies to learning disabled, emotional behavior students, and Mildly Intellectually disabled students. I am also in charge of the tutoring program for the whole school in Social Studies. I have a lot of patience and am willing to try anything. My experience has been primarily with children within my school or those around my neighborhood. I find that children are more capable of learning in a stable environment that they are familiar with. Children respond well with well timed incentives and subtle reprimands of lost focus. Students are more likely to acknowledge a lack of concentration skills once their intelligence is put into question. Under my tutoring students are able to concentrate more and see an improvement in their grades. Ill behaved children are more likely to round out their behavior once an appropriate hobby is acquired for them and holds their interests. All materials should be produced based on the individual child's rights.
