I have been drawing for 60 years. I beleive I can show anyone their specific strong points to work toward a goal of accomplishment. Ive been involved in the visual graphic arts for 50 years. I have done every thing from airbrush t shirts in the 60s to build a huge sculpture for a local hospital. Ive worked with every material available to the public.Currently have a sculpture studio. I have been teaching for the last fifteen years. I started my teaching career in the junior high grades and then decided that my preference would be with the younger children. As a teacher with dyslexia I felt that I was unable to teach reading to my students. I went in search of more training and found Alphabetic Phonics a Orton Gillingham program. I have sense used what I learn in the almost 160 hours of training with 11 students and seen progress in all of them. I love working with children and helping fulfill their potential. I like at children as water that must be directed in the right direction. I will do this my trying to find research validated methods of teaching that teaching to all the learning styles. I decided to challenge myself the final year and study more science coursework than was needed for me to sufficiently graduate.
