Being someone who likes to see the "big picture" of concepts and ideas, I struggled through math as a child, believing that I didn't understand it. I finally realized one day of the simplicity in it and actually began to enjoy solving problems one step at a time. I like to utilize trust and humor in teaching, giving kids an environment to feel safe and confident in. I don't have a wide teaching experience but I do enjoy working and helping Elementary or junior high leveled children. Ay my most recent job, I worked in a dept called 'PLAYLAND" where I was responsible for taking care and keeping the children of our customers entertained and busy as their parent's shopped for groceries. I have also assisted a choir class in high school for kids around my age at the time. I graduated from Northern Michigan University, Magna Cum Laude, with a bachelor degree is Public Relations and a minor in Speech Communications. I worked 4 plus years as a sales manager mentoring and coaching my employees. I've tutored at Bay De Noc Community college and spent a summer teaching at a science camp.
