I enjoyed teaching and would love to tutor students as a means of making a living and promoting excellence.I am available to provide my expertise to help students succeed in the changing world market in which we live today. I have done it in the past and am ready and willing to do it now. Worked in the Greenwood Public School District from August 1996-January 2001. As an Honor graduate with a bachelors of arts in sociology, I have an extensive knowledge of various subjects. Some of the major areas of my degree that i am very familiar with includes: history, social science, american government, and spanish. I have also tutored 9th-12th grade students in history and english with Upward Bound at MVSU. My degree also enabled me to obtain extensive research and writing skills.

I have just recently graduated with my Masters from Ole Miss. I will begin my PhD in the fall. I have taught Health classes at the University for the past two years. I have much experience in math, science, and english with my past two degrees. I have tutored students in math, english, and science. I love to work with children who are eager to learn. I know that for most children having to study is not their top priority, so I try to make it fun. I am patient, and know that learning often takes repetition. I believe that most children have the power to learn, some just need some one on one attention.

While at the University of Memphis, I tutored at a private school named The Neighborhood School, which provided services to low income families. This experience needed a person with an extensive background due to tutoring was required in all subjects.
