My comments on tutoring German : I am a nativ German from Munich. I finished my school education with 16 and started at a Business University with 17. My Major subject in School was German.

In my 12 year School education, i scipped two classes and graduated with 16 years. In School my Major subject was German. After that i started study at a international Business University. While i study, i teached other students, that they can pass the tests (Abitur) with better grades. And all of my students passed their tests with top grade. My best experience is, that i am a native German.
I prefer face-to-face teaching.

My comments on tutoring German : As a member of the World Languages Department at a Vermont high school, I filled in as German instructor on numerous occasions.

In my teaching, I make every effort to engage the attention of my students. While covering the subject at hand, I bring into my lessons references to a spectrum of other subjects when relevant such as historical context, cultural elements, literary allusions, modern and historical implications and facts and trivia relating to the subject which I believe will not only be of interest to the student but will also provide a more rounded appreciation of the benefits of a wide ranging education.
For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that students will be more inclined to pay attention and remember if they are having fun. I try to put some fun in everything I teach. I have designed many games and activities that make the job of learning easier.
At a Wall Street bank, I trained new hires in the proper transmission of Telex and SWIFT messages. I later moved to SR&D as a Programmer Analyst. I worked in the creation and maintenance of programs needed by the bank. For 12 years, I recruited and trained independent salespeople, while conducting my own demonstrations. My income averaged upwards of $50k annually. From 1998 to 2008, I worked in an overnight freight setting as a supervisor where I was responsible for orientation and training of new hires.
