I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others to learn. I don't believe in "I can't do it" or "I can't learn". I believe that anyone can learn anything as long as they're willing to learn and put an effort to do so. My comments on tutoring Earth Science : Perhaps my most enjoyable class since you get to take a good look at all the components that make up our world! In addition, I taught Earth Science as a High School Science Teacher.

I have always approached a teaching lesson as a learning opportunity. Learning is a fundamental skill. If you don't have your basic fundamentals, your student will have difficulty advancing. So, I always start with basic fundamentals such as; note taking, study skills, and comprehension! All sciences demand the ability to link concepts together. Ex. cells make up tissues, tissues make up organs, organs make up organ systems,etc.....! By understanding the make-up of cellular structures and relating that to tissue functions the students can fully understand a subject. This proves true with all subjects. By impowering the student with good base fundamentals, my students find it easier to link concepts together.

A Little Bit About Me...

I obtained a bachelor of science in Biological Sciences, but I was determined to strive for the best, and also wanted to obtain a greater understanding of the subject. As a result, I return to school to complete my masters in Biomedical Sciences. Although, I have never formerly tutor for an instition, I have worked with pre-teens and teens as a mentor for over a year and a half for the Youth Development Network.
As a mentor, working with children as always been a passion of mine. In my experience, I know that children learn at different speeds and in different ways.
