I was brought up by both of my parents, which I am lucky to say they are both teachers. After I was born my mother stayed a housewife, but my father kept on studying, and teaching at many levels. He has now a PhD, and I am following in his footsteps, not quite same specialties but similar. Throught my working career of over 19 years, I have learned many skills and trades. A Little Bit About Me...

I love seeing people understand something once I explain it to them in a way that they can understand it. I also love working with kids and teenagers because I believe that if we have a positive influence on young people they will grow up to be the leaders that our nation needs. My teaching style is geared at making people think. Students don't learn when they are spoon fed their education but when they are lead in the correct direction.
I am currently enrolled in the graduate engineering program at the University of Florida, in which I plan to graduate in the spring of 2012. I graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors degree in Neuroscience. This degree has allowed me to achieve a great understanding of the sciences. I have taken math classes up to Calculus 2 and a variety of science classes. In addition to this, I wrote my own thesis paper for a neuroscience laboratory that I worked in for two and a half years. This improved my writing skills, lab skills, and critical thinking skills immensely.
