My comments on tutoring Electrical Engineering : I have a 34 year career and graduate degrees in Electrical Engineering specializing in RF and Satellite Communications.

Lead the student to find the right answer himself or herself if possible.
I have done private tutoring of high school students in math from pre-algebra to calculus and in other subjects. I have also home schooled adopted daughters from lower grades to high school level, including teaching English as a second language. In graduate school I was a teaching assistant in an electric machinery laboratory for non-electrical engineering majors. My own experience with standardized tests includes having taken the ACT in 1971 with scores ranging from 22 (76th percentile) in English to 31 (97th percentile) in math with a composite of 27 (93rd percentile) and having passed the GRE in 1975. As a civil engineer, I have taught math as a tutor at New American English School in Haiti for two years. Since I came here, I worked as a tutor at baron collier for a particular program for two years. I think that math is my domain I can definitly help anyone even at college level.

I graduated from Indiana University with Business Degree, most of my work experience was in training and development of new employees, with a strong emphasis on demonstration, explaination and using real world applications.
