A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. To be an effective teacher/tutor, I must first learn the student's learning style.I am not a big fan of the standardized tests, in fact, I believe that many children and young adults may suffer from test anxiety. I believe that I may suffer from that also. I am dependable, honest, friendly, and professional. I believe one of my strongest traits are "setting the example" and finding a way to "teach outside the box". As I was tutoring fellow students in high school, I realized I wanted to teach. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education. I chose, then, to go into the business of training and consulting rather than work for the Public School System.
