A Little Bit About Me...

Because of my experience in teaching my own children, I have discovered that no child is too young to learn. Often people will not consider an infant or toddler a "functioning human being" until the child can speak. This is so inaccurate! I taught one of my daughters to read at age four. My teaching style is to engage the student on a personal level through cheerful conversation and sharing of interests, then to assess learning styles, strengths, and challenges. Children perform well when expectations are complimentary to them, and when they are given the tools and nurture to accomplish their dreams.
I graduated from high school as number eleven in rank out of 248. I often assisted other students in both high school and college. All of my previous students would describe me as fun, loving, and patient. I am an extremely upbeat and energetic teacher as well as person. I think the best way to teach children is by making learning fun and exciting. I try my hardest to implement that into each lesson I cover. I truly believe each and every child can learn, and with that mentality they do. It is crucial for each child to feel successful.
