During my BS, made top of the class in many of my math classes. Before returning to graduate school worked 7000+ problems to improve myself. Utah State University Math/Stat Graduate PhD Researcher of the Year 2009 with GPA 4.0 in MS and PhD. My tutoring experience began while a student at BYU with Mark D. from ages 8-10. By treating children as though they are intelligent and providing encouragement and learning opportunities, I have seen children grow and progress in almost astonishing ways. During those three years I tutored all levels of Math as well as Physics, Chemistry and Engineering. I also taught ACT preparation courses. As a Weber State graduate, I majored in Zoology and minored in Chemistry. Even though science has always been a passion of mine, I am very knowledgeable in math. During my undergraduate studies, I have gained even more experience and improved on my grammatical skills. I had the opportunity to be an Anatomy lab instructor for three semesters.
