My comments on tutoring Math : Taught math for grades 4 thru 12 and college level algebra in public school and have been tutoring for over 5 years.

I have over ten years of teaching. I have taught ELA,Reading comp, math, science at all levels. I have taught in public schools, private schools, charter schools and at post-secondary institutions. When helping a student with Algebra, it is critical to asses their basic skills in mathematical operations. With chemistry, physics and biology it is often a matter of increasing the student’s vocabulary and understanding of the complex terminology and relationships presented by the teacher and the classroom book. I've always had a love of learning, and have naturally slipped into an informal tutor role with friends. During high school I took several AP tests and at the same time earned the International Baccalaureate diploma, so I understand very well the pressures involved. My two bachelor's degrees (Computer Science & Engineering) give me a strong foundation in math and science. I have experience as a teaching assistant for undergraduates.
