For the past 28 years, I have worked in Industry as an Electrical Engineer. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences with the goal of teaching college math, preferably at a Community College. I have experience teaching at the community college level and tutoring in High School Math. While working in industry, I taught many classes including statistics for Six Sigma certification and basic power distribution concepts and calculations. Also, I am a licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee and South Carolina. I have always wanted to teach Math and have finally been able to take time off from full time work to obtain the required education to do so. I realize that many folks experience difficulty learning Math. In most cases, there are several ways to teach a particular concept. If one method does not click with a student, I will try another method
