I attained my first degree in Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University in 2003. After working in that field for a few years, however, I chose to change my career path. I then went back to school at the City College of New York to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. I am happy to say that I am graduating this month (December 2010), and have not regretted pursuing this second degree at all. I loved learning mathematics throughout my college experience and during my student teaching in both high school geometry and college algebra courses I realized that my passion is my strength. I am able to use my knowledge of math beyond where my students are in order to attack the students understanding of the subject from different angles.
