A Little Bit About Me...

I have graduated from North Carolina State University and earned a bachelors degree in Chemistry. While studying I have learned math and science as my forte but have also taken English, Spanish and history courses. I have written many reports in both my major classes and outside of them. I have been involved in many programs that help enhance children learning. I have worked diligently in the community specifically with underprivileged children to give them hope and show them that if they can believe it they can achieve it!
I love working with all children. I enjoy changing my style to fit the specific need of the child and helping them in the way they learn the best. During college I studied Electrical Engineering for 7 years where I gained an extensive background in mathematics and science while obtaining my Masters Degree. During my Masters program, I composed a 150+ page thesis, which refined my writing, organization, and research skills. During my senior year in undergrad, and throughout my advanced studies, I worked as a math and science tutor, where I taught all maths from algebra to Calculus 3 for the college. In addition, I also worked externally as a middle and high school math tutor. After graduating, I became a Mental Health Therapist for 3 years, where I assisted kids with behavioral disorder such as depression, attention deficit disorder, and adjustment disorder.
