The goal when tutoring or teaching students is to make sure they understand what they are learning. I will continue to work on a topic until what I call "the light bulb goes off in their head." When I see the sparkle in a students eyes that they finally understood, that is the reward.

I love to read and love to teach a love of reading. I originally volunteered with Literacy Dupage over 10 years ago, and renewed my training and volunteerism with them in 2008. My 2008 student recently moved out of the area.
