My experience ranges a great deal and encompasses a lot of subject matter from K-12 Math to English and Literature. I graduated from Wake Forest in 2008, double-majoring in Mathematics and Physics. I also took some courses in the Education Department, and substitute taught for public high schools and middle schools in Winston-Salem, NC and Metairie, LA. I have worked in tutoring programs for elementary school children approximately twice a week for a total of twelve months. I began to realize my love and aptitude for tutoring as a volunteer Japanese instructor for the Daikin home-stay program in 2006. The next two years I volunteered my time with Rosie's International Services tutoring Spanish. At the beginning of the Spring 2008 semester, the Head of the Foreign Language Department, Dr. Maier, submitted my name to a tutoring department at UAH, where I worked tutoring Spanish, Japanese, Latin, Chinese, and English as a Second Language until I graduated in Spring 2010. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored as a self-employed tutor in French, and my student was ahead of her class for the beginning of the next year. I have also weekly taught two classes at two elementary schools in French. I have been to Québec, Canada, two of the past three summers, in which I had a great immersion to a degree in the language. Also, I have done some volunteer translations for Huntsville, AL; England; and Sherbrooke, Québec. French was my minor when I received my BBA in 2009.
