As a graduate of the State University of NY at Albany, I am very interested in helping others learn. I hold 2 degrees, BA in English and MS in Education/English s a Second Language. I taught school for 4 years and after many years of working in administration, I would like to tutor students in English and mathematics.
I enjoy teaching children of all ages and adults. I am patient and a good listener and can zoom in on what a child needs help in. If a child has difficulty grapsing some concept, I believe the teacher can slow down and tackle whatever problem the child is having by using an understanding and nonjudgmental approach.
