For the past year I have worked as a Software Trainer for the Finance department functions such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. I have aways been driven to master new educational challenges and enjoy coaching and training others. I have tutored Basic and Advanced Accounting at the college level a semester when in Memphis, TN. My interest in education comes from my personal experience. I started off as a Probation Officer after I finished College with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. I used to Sub Teach to break the monotony of dealing with crime and found teaching to be more rewarding for me. However, after giving Teaching some serious thought I then returned to School and completed my Teaching Credential Program Through Patten University in Oakland Ca. in Elementry Education. My goal is really for the person I am tutoring to fully understand the information they are trying to learn. In this way, they can understand the basics and build upon that. I believe the best way to approach a new student is to find out their weaknesses and strengths. Then, really put some hard work into making their weak points better and making their strong points the best they can be.
