Throughout my tutoring experience, I noticed oftentimes, students wouldn’t be able completely grasp the concepts the first time when I explained to them. To resolve this problem, I have learned that it is helpful to explain the process of solving the same problem from a different perspective or using a different method. Also, sometimes after I explain a problem to the student, to make sure that the student really understands the concept, I ask the student to explain the same problem back to me or to another student who is also confused about the same problem. A Little Bit About Me...

Since I have worked with many different children and people I know that everyone is different. I am confident that I can figure out how someone learns best by trying different ways of teaching until we find the right way. I am very laid back but extremely motivated and I want to push people. I have realized that we all can do more than we think we can as long as we believe and never give up. As long as the child or person sees that someone believes in them then they will believe in themselves.
I just graduated from Indiana University a semester early. I have a B.S. in chemistry with a math minor.
