Proficient and patient tutor: science, statistics, and math

I like to give a diagnostic test at the first meeting to assess the client's familiarity with the topic, then, customize lessons to fit her or his needs. I aim to build a strong foundation, then, increase difficulty of concepts as client's comfort level with the topic increases. I use materials that are challenging, but not intimidating. I earned a degree in biology with a minor in forensic Psychology. Although Biology was my major, I took math classes from Pre-calculus to differential equations although i did not need it but because I loved math. I am preparing to take my GACE certification, which is a licence to teach. During my undergraduate years, i volunteered at peach county high school in the city of Fort valley; I taught high school students math and science courses and i also tutored math and science courses during my undergraduate years in college.
