My comments on tutoring Sign Language : My primary source of communication

Relaxed, fun, easy going, comfortable.
I am currently an ASL instructor at a deaf school, I teach the community and I am looking to help others improve their sign language and also gain experience for myself. I truly enjoy teaching and helping others who are motivated to learn. I use American Sign Language as my primary source for communication, I grew up at a deaf school and come from a deaf family, I am also hard of hearing with a 6th generation of hearing loss in my family.

Sign Language is one of my top subjects! I have completed level 4 at the U of M- Duluth and Saint Paul College. Currently I am enrolled in the Interpreting program at Saint Paul College.

I have tutored for American Sign Language levels 1-2 at the University of Minnesota-Duluth for two semesters. I helped students with sentence structure and learning signs. I often use games such as hangman and apples to apples to help with remembering signs. I am currently enrolled in the interpreting program at Saint Paul College.

Hello! I am a child of a deaf adult (CODA) and have been speaking American Sign Language ever since I was born. I learned my first words when I was only 6 months old! My father and his whole entire side of the family are deaf, and I have been speaking ASL fluently all of my life. I'm currently enrolled at Saint Paul College working towards obtaining my certificate, and then to become an interpreter/transliterator.
