My comments on tutoring French : I have two years' experience with French as well as having experience with native French speakers. I took French while at University as well as in-home lessons with a private tutor.

I love sharing my knowledge with others, whether it's in a group or one-on-one. I make sure that my pupils can easily comprehend what is going on during the lesson. Questions are a good indicator that active comprehension is taking place, and I am there to make sure that any and all questions that are to be had will be answered. I'm not one to "spoon-feed" per se, but if specialized attention is needed on a specific topic or subject, I am there to help with any and all questions that may arise during the process.
During my high school and university careers, I have focused primarily on languages and language acquisition. I have studied 12 different languages and I have obtained varying degrees of proficiency in each of them: Latin, Romanian, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, German, Danish, Swedish, Greek, Scottish Gaelic, and Welsh. I have a daughter in the 8th grade and a son in the 6th. I have home schooled them the past 9 years. They have very different learning styles which has helped me to learn to teach in different ways to accommodate their needs. I am patient and easy going and I love helping kids.
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. I have very strong math skills, especially in Algebra, which is what my daughter is learning now. Throughout my executive career I have always been passionate about teaching or training others in different areas, technical , languages , etc. One of my favorite subjects is creative commercial-business writing in several languages (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese).
Personalized. I believe different people react differently and learn differently. Caring and interacting one on one is the key to successful coaching. I lived in Indonesia from third grade until I graduated from an international high school. While there I experienced a unique intersection of education and culture; my classmates represented more than ten countries. I learned to speak Indonesian and French, but more importantly I learned the value of education in an increasingly diverse world.
