My comments on tutoring World History : I took this class in high school as well and never got lower then an "A" all year long. One of my most favorite subjects and definitely love to study history as a whole.

I graduated Alonso High School in Tampa Florida in June 2013. I graduated with a 3.4 GPA and a strong passion for History and Writing. Every English and History class that I finished I always ended up with grades above a "B" grade and enjoyed learning new material from the subjects. Every paper that I wrote for English was one that I took hours of writing and revision so that I would come out with the best product for the best grade. After high school, I attended Florida Gulfcoast University for the Summer of 2013 and took Composition 1 and finished the semester with a "B" and an even greater understanding of how to write a paper, cite sources, and sentence structure. My comments on tutoring World History : Have tutored in 20th Century World History. I have studied WWI, WWII, Arab-Israeli Conflict, Russian Revolution/Communist years and Cold War. These are the subjects which I am most familiar with.

I have been a tutor for many different areas, primarily music, during my High School years. Have worked in a program that focused in teaching poor homeless children to play various instruments. I also taught them how to build and maintain their instruments, and learned myself how to do it. I have also given tutoring in school subjects and have helped a few students understand subjects better. These include, History (20th Century), Music Theory, Spanish, English and Philosophy. I am an honors graduate of U.S.F. with forty years of teaching experience. In addition to my B.A. and M.A. degrees, I completed all cousework for the ED.D. I have taught FCAT preperation in middle school in math and reading. I have also taught GED Prep in the evenings. I taught junior high math one year. I have also written two books. My style is student centered. I always try to provide a positive atmosphere for learning. My jokes were a technique to help accomplish that goal.
