I continued my undergraduate work at Utica College of Syracuse University and I earned a BS in Chemistry. I went into teaching because I enjoy working with children. I do not think of teaching as a job. It is very rewarding to me that I can help children understand complicated material. I make things simple and use things that they already know to build on to get them to understand the material. I like to teach the children pneumatic devices to help them remember the material1. I love teaching, period. I strive for clarity in my presentation. This has allowed me to explain very complex ideas to adults as well as very young children. The mark of a good teacher is comprehension. Never is there a place for anger or impatience in teaching! It is the duty of the instructor to demonstrate why the subject is important and interesting.
