My teaching style would best be described as creative and flexible. I find it important to meet each student where they are at and figure out how to make the material make sense for that student. I find that many people are discouraged with English. The three biggest reasons are they have decided they can not understand the material they have been given to read; they have decided they can not write and they have concluded that what they have to say is not worth saying. The next fall (2008), I was a substitute teacher for 4 months and then I was hired as a preschool teacher (in January of 2009).
