A Little Bit About Me...

I have a bachelor degree in computer science from Arkansas State University. I had to take many math classes to receive this degree. Some of the classes included Calculus I-III, Prob and Stat, and algebra. I have 4-5 years of training experience. I have trained bank employees how to use newly installed software and also trained bank mailroom employees how to follow instructions for sorting and distributing bank mail. I have also spent many hours helping my former stepdaughter with her high school math homework.
I love teaching and working with all children. I believe all children can learn, but each in different ways. I am available to help your child find academic success. My teaching style is to go head on with my students and to address every weak point possible. It is crucial to understand how the student both feels and interprets information. If a student does not seem to comprehend using a certain teaching method then it is imperative to find a different way to present the course materials.
