I try to express ideas in multiple ways, understanding that all students learn differently. I also try to provide real world examples to bring a more practical application to the students' studies. I also feel that engaging students in my lectures is important, not only to keep their attention, but to ensure they more thoroughly grasp the concepts.
I served in the US Navy for six years after high school, providing me with a wealth of world experience. I excelled in my studies in the Navy's nuclear power program as a machinist mate and engineering laboratory technician.
