SOAR Study skills Group Sessions coming Spring 2013

The gift of teaching, advising, coaching, communicating and motivating was realized early in high school by school administrator of mine. After earning my Bachelors degree in Education in 1988 I taught GED,ESL,ABE, and advised law students while running the library. A Little Bit About Me...

I have over 2o years of business experience in the areas of accounting, banking and human resources with 2 masters degrees as well as a bachelors degree in business. I enjoy teaching and training at all levels from elementary students to adults. I have taught on a volunteer basis, trained employees and I am currently teaching accounting at the community college level.

A Little Bit About Me...

While I have over 30 years of business experience, I have followed my passion and I am now teaching at SCC. My business experience includes human resource management, accounting (manufacturing and banking), and finance. I have been teaching/tutoring on a part-time basis in accounting and business for the past year. My students have rated me well and appreciate my teaching style. Many have commented that they have been able to learn the concepts and "do the math" in areas that they have struggled with in the past.
