As a recent graduate from Radford University, I am anxious to begin teaching. I have spent the last year in a middle school classroom observing and teaching. The first semester I was in the school part time while taking classes at Radford. During this semester I did a lot of observing and moderate amounts of teaching. I have spent several years as a student and tutor at the university level. I am planning to enter medical school in the Fall of 2012 and as such have developed a strong foundation in the sciences throughout my undergraduate education. Although I majored in Biology, my true passion is Chemistry. I spent 2 years on a religious service mission where I became fluent in Spanish. I am fascinated by the ability to communicate with an entirely new group of people. I learned Spanish by being immersed in the culture and have since studied Spanish at the university level in order to understand the "rules" behind speaking the language.
