A Little Bit About Me...

The thing I love most about teaching is opening up someones eyes to something new and seeing the "wow" look on their faces. Sometimes certain subject matter is not always easy for a person to learn. I've always appreciated the teacher that went out of their way with a great amount of patience to make sure I understood. As a graduate student I had the opportunity to be both a teacher and a student. I had intense studies in art history and contemporary art. My professors encouraged me to branch out my media from drawing and painting to collage, mixed media, soft sculpture and installation.
