I enjoy teaching very much. I am a very patient person and more than teaching the students I like helping them figure things out by themselves. I always try to create "real life" situations for them to use the knowledge acquired instead of making them solve abstract operations.
I have a BS in Cybernetics Engineering. As an engineer, my knowledge of math and physics is high. As a student I solved so many operations involving calculus that I memorized the formulas and used them as fast as the multiplication tables. I am a native Spanish speaker. I believe that tutors are most effective as supplements to classroom teaching. It's my job to clear up questions that might not have been answered, or to take the time to explain the fundamental concepts necessary to continue with the material. I also believe that our time together is best served when the student has already attempted some work and comes prepared with specific questions. I'm willing to spend a long time explaining concepts in different ways, and multiple times. I don't mind building off of ideas learned several weeks before in order to ensure the student understands the current material.
