I was hired as a designer two months before I graduated from the Ivy School of Professional Art by one of my instructors, who owned a small design firm. I have worked as a designer for the past 35 years. This approach works well for middle and high school students. It allows students not only to understand the ideas taught but to apply them to other areas as well.
