My objective is to make it a objective that every student that I teach will come to understand what it is that they are trying to learn. I have tons of experience tutoring in elementary, middle and high school settings. I have tutored students in groups as well as individuals alone. I use several teaching styles. Whatever works for that particular student. Some students are visual. They need to see what you are talking about. Others are good listeners; they can listen and learn. Some students need to do. All students need practice and I try to provide them with plenty of practice to ensure that they have mastered the topic. I started teaching in 1989. Not only I have tutored students on different grade levels, but also worked as a classroom teacher in grades Pre-k through High School. I have taught integrated math and algebra I & II. One of my favorite levels of math was Pre-Alebra. I aced this class with an A. I love math! I have always gained a quick understanding of math, and have enjoyed it throughout my whole experience throughout school. I enjoy working with numbers. I took higher math courses in middle school, and when I completed Early College I was also taking higher math on the college side. I took pre-Calculus on the college side, and skipped over AFM. I am attending school for early childhood degree. Working with children and others have always been apart of me. Throughout school I am always helping and tutoring someone. Teaching someone something that I already know and something they should know or what to know makes me happy.
