A Little Bit About Me...

Although my experience as a teacher appears brief, I feel I have the knowledge in my subject to help students learn and enjoy science. I taught for one year as a High school Biology teacher at Bonner Springs Ks. I also taught as a Title 1 Teacher at Edwardsville Elementary in Kansas City. I believe the best way for students to learn is by doing and discovering the material hands on as oppose to being lectured to. I like to instruct demonstrate the learning material to my students intially, but after that i prefer to have my students try the material themselves so they can see and understand what aspects of the material they dont understand. That helps me pinpoint what i need to focus on as far as helping them with a particular area of miscomprehension. I strongly believe in learning by doing instead of learning by seeing. My comments on tutoring Biology : have taught undergrad biology

Chemistry has been my passion and i take special interest in teaching my students this subject. I have great command over this subject I explain the concepts to my students. The chapter becomes easier for them to understand and hence they are able to solve the problem easily. Each one of my student has earned better grades after being tutored by me.
