A Little Bit About Me...

I currently work in a PreK-12 School setting as a Certified School Library Media Specialist. I am responsible for teaching Prek-6th grade library/research lessons. When I am not teaching I am monitoring 7-12 students who are utilizing the library media cnter. I manage two library spaces, am the primary purchaser for books, technologies, and databases, and work closely with the administration team to meet and exceed curricular goals. Previously I worked in a K-6 setting with similar responsibilities. While working with on my Masters degree I substitute taught in several of the area school districts. In 20 years of teaching experience I have tutored students of all ages, different socio-economic backgrounds and intellectual abilities, as well as in a wide variety of subjects. Born as a Chinese national and I speak fluent Chinese Mandarin language and I studied Business in Accounting and graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1990 and my mathematical course I always get "A" on my grade (I even get 105 on my test score, believe it or not) and I still love math.
