My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : Very Strong

My favorite teaching style is the classical Black Board style that may involve Power Point presentations. I am very patient with my students and like to believe that I have the capability to make every student learn.
I did an Undergraduate in Science with an honors in Chemistry, followed by an M.Sc. in Biochemistry and a PhD in Biochemistry. I was actively involved in Cancer Research in the Department of Biochemistry and have authored over 40 publications. Pre-Calculus is one of my top subjects! Teaching Pre-Calculus for the first time this year. I am able to teaching topics with clarity and understanding.

I have been teaching since 2004. I have taught in an inner city school ( four years) and I am currently teaching at Churchill High School (fifth year). I understand the struggle students have with mathematics. I understand the frustration when a topic is explained but understanding is not achieved. A Little Bit About Me...

I have over 5 years of tutoring experience. I independently tutored in Physics while in my Junior and Senior year earning a Bachelors in Physics and minor in Mathematics. I have extensive Math skills and taught Calculus, all levels, at the San Antonio College for several years. It was then that I found out how much I enjoyed tutoring Calculus.
