A Little Bit About Me...

I have the ability to “adjust quickly to change” and love to multi-task. From living in Mexico D.F. at the age of sixteen, attending graduate school in London and now living in Hawaii, I have gained experience in multi-cultural environments and thrive in challenging settings.
After graduate school in the summer of 2003, I taught art at the Pathfinder Ranch in Idyllwild, CA for ten hours a day for three months with a very limited budget. From 2003-2004, I taught on-line students and acted as an academic enrollment counselor for high school students and their parents at Laurel Springs School, a home school in Ojai, CA. A Little Bit About Me...

My philosophy is that each student should be presented with the best opportunities for learning. I believe that each child is a unique individual with specific needs and learning styles such as visual, audio, kinetic or through reading and writing. I am known for "thinking outside the box" and draw upon any and all resources that might help a child learn better. I am patient, encouraging, and use methods that empower a child in the learning environment.
I have worked with children since 1991. My concentration during my undergraduate studies was neuroendocrinology.
