My style of teaching is to allow the student to learn by doing. This is supplemented with encouragement, guidance, and occasionally talking through why a specific answer is correct. There have been many times that I wish I had become a teacher but using the old saying: work always got in my way. Teachers, next to parents, are the most important person in a growing child's life. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been working as a private tutor from my home or student's home for 3 years. I have tutored elementary through college level students. I am able to teach a variety of subjects, however my forte is English and Composition. I have the honor of being a published author. I am an expert in MLA or APA style writing.
