Since 2000 I have been heavily involved in tutoring various subjects. My first experience was through the Language Connection Tutoring Program at a local high school. The program began with the football team and ESL students seeking after-school tutoring in Math, Science, Reading and Languages. It expanded in popularity and soon tutors began working with students in all subject areas. From my sophomore through senior year, I logged in well over 200 hours of tutoring in the program. In addition, I tutored 2nd and 3rd graders at an elementary school over the summer. After graduating from college, I worked as a substitute teacher for the D.C. Public School System. My certification is K-12 and I quickly gained experience in a variety subjects and grade levels.
