My comments on tutoring English : English in all its facets,is a specialty of mine including: grammar, language arts, reading, writing, composition, spelling, comprehension, speaking. In addition, to teaching a student how to read, write speak and understand the English language, I teach students how to lessen whatever foreign accent they may have (a foreign accent often makes it difficult to understand a person for whom English is a second language, even when the person speaks it grammatically well.)

My comments on tutoring English : I have been studying English for 8 years now.

I always think about this. 'If I was a teacher what would my technic be?' Well first I teach the basics and accompany them with harder things so you understand how to use them( I'm talking about learning a language). I make hard things look easy. Before I teach anything I review it by myself and ask myself 'would I understand?' I'm a very visual person. I do talk a lot and I'll make sure that you understand everything before going on unless I believe that if I continue you will understand eventually.
I have tutored people before but not as a job. I'm a High school student but I know a lot of things. I'm planning on becoming a teacher after college. Learning is fun!

I taylor my lessons according to student needs. I prefer the natural exposure to language. Grammar can be incorporated into the lessons and it does not have to be boring . I prefer guided conversation to standard lessons as the best way to learn a new language.
After moving to Miami from Germany in 2006, I've worked and a private tutor of the German language. I'm experienced in teaching elementary school children as well as adults. I helped my students in the German program at Sunset elementary to improve their grades. I gave customized classes to adult professionals who had to relocate to Germany and gave conversation classes to adults interested to freshen-up their German.
